Ribbons have the capability to manufacture technical fibre products such as Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) often manufactured under the brand name Dyneema® and aramid fibres, often manufactured under the brand name Kevlar®. These technical yarns offer exceptionally high breaking strengths whilst being soft and lightweight. Using computer-controlled colour match technology we are able to ensure accuracy and uniformity of colour in all of our products. Our in house dye machines lock in the colour for proven colour fastness and durability.
We also offer a range of specialised coating techniques, including water repellent, fire retardant, and mould resistant coatings, according to customer specifications.
All of our high specification military and defence webbing and technical narrow fabrics products are manufactured in line with stringent international quality control directives.
Ribbons are fully certified to ISO 9001:2015 standard, offering full quality assurance to our customers. Our expert design team work closely with manufacturers of military and defence products in the development of narrow fabrics based solutions. Our fully equipped laboratory offers in house testing to customer specifications.
Ribbons also have the ability to manufacture technical narrow fabric products, such as Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) often produced under the brand name Dyneema® and aramid fibres often produced under the brand name Kevlar®. These fibres are light in weight and soft to the touch but offer exceptionally high tensile strengths, which can be of particular benefit in patient lifting, where safety and strength are required in combination with patient comfort.
